Memphis Americans to face Fayetteville Fury in final match of regular season

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The Memphis Americans men’s and women’s teams are set to face the Fayetteville Fury in the final match of the regular season on Friday, April 1. The first match is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. CDT at Crown Complex in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The men’s team (13-5) and women’s team (15-3) faced the Columbus Rapids on Thursday, March 31. The men won 4-3, while the women fell 2-4. Currently, the Memphis Americans men’s team is second in National Indoor Soccer League standings behind the Fayetteville Fury and the women are ranked first. Both teams are set to participate in the NISL Playoffs that begin next week.

Friday’s matches mark the sixth time this season the Memphis Americans and Fayetteville Fury have competed against one another. The Memphis Americans men are split 3-3 against the team and the women are an undefeated 6-0.

Justin Terranova serves as head coach for the Fayetteville Fury men’s team and assistant coach for the women’s. The women’s team is led by Bryan Madej. The men have a record of 13-3, while the women are 4-12 on the season.

Season tickets for the 2022/2023 season are already on sale on the team’s website and start at $180. 2021/2022 season ticket holders have first option to renew their current seats. All season ticket holders have access to all men’s and women’s matches, enjoy postseason and off-season priority access, can attend a meet and greet with the team, and receive a special season ticket holder T-shirt.
