Memphis Americans to face Fayetteville Fury once again

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The Memphis Americans men’s and women’s teams face the Fayetteville Fury for the third time this month on Friday, Feb. 11. Kickoff for the first match is at 5 p.m. CST at Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi.

The two teams most recently faced each other Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The men’s team lost both matches with scores of 5-7 and 3-4. The women’s team secured two victories during the road trip, winning the first match 4-2 and the second 6-0. Ashlynn Jones made her presence known in the shutout, scoring half of the team’s goals. Lauren Odino-Draughon secured two goals respectively, and tallied one assist in the second match, as well.

The Fayetteville Fury men’s team is led by coach Justin Terranova, while the women’s team has coach Bryan Madej at the helm. So far this season, the men have an undefeated record of 5-0 and the women come in at 1-4.

Individual match tickets for the Memphis Americans inaugural season are available for purchase at www.memphisamericans.com. Each ticket grants entry to both the men’s and women’s matches. Season tickets start at $180 and are currently available on the team’s website, as well. Season ticket holders have access to all men’s and women’s matches, enjoy postseason and off-season priority access, can attend a meet and greet with the team, and receive a special inaugural season scarf.
