Memphis Americans to face Rome Gladiators

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The Memphis Americans men’s and women’s teams will face the Rome Gladiators for the second time this season Saturday, March 19. Kickoff for the first match is at 3:30 p.m. CDT at Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi.

Both Memphis Americans teams most recently faced the Columbus Rapids at home on Saturday, Mar. 5. The men won 4-1, moving their season record to 9-4, and the women, who are currently 11-2 on the season, won 8-0.

The Rome Gladiators men’s team is led by coach Joao Garcia, while the women’s team has Mike Cediel at the helm. The men are looking for their first win of the season, while the women are looking to improve their 6-2 season record.

Individual match tickets for other games occurring during the Memphis Americans inaugural season are available for purchase at www.memphisamericans.com. 

Each ticket grants entry to both the men’s and women’s matches. Season tickets for the 2022/2023 season are already on sale on the team’s website and start at $180. 2021/2022 season ticket holders have first option to renew their current seats. All season ticket holders have access to all men’s and women’s matches, enjoy postseason and off-season priority access, can attend a meet and greet with the team, and receive a special season ticket holder T-shirt.
